A flat 12V battery is not a failed hybrid battery
On a Lexus hybrid the two batteries are separate. The high-voltage pack drives the car. The small 12V auxiliary runs the locks, the screens and the relays that switch the pack on. If the car is dead after a few weeks parked at the airport or in a basement, the 12V battery is the usual cause, and replacing it is a far smaller job.

Where is the battery in a Lexus ES 300h?
The 12V auxiliary battery in an ES 300h is usually in the boot, behind the side trim panel. You do not need to reach it to jump start the car, because there is a jump terminal in the fuse box under the bonnet. The large hybrid battery is a separate unit at the rear of the car.
What battery does a Lexus LX 570 take?
The LX 570 takes a large JIS battery under the bonnet, usually in the 80D26 to 105D31 class, the same family used in the Land Cruiser. We confirm the exact size and terminal side from the fitted battery or your registration card, then deliver and fit it at your location in Arjan or across Dubai.
Does a Lexus need an AGM battery?
