Which battery does a Mercedes-Benz E-Class take?

How long does it take to change a Mercedes-Benz E-Class battery?

How do I know my E-Class battery is failing?
A slower crank in the morning, lights that dim at idle, start-stop that stops working, or a battery light on the dash. If the battery is over two years old in Dubai, have it tested before summer.
What does Auxiliary Battery Malfunction mean on my Mercedes?
It means the small second battery, or the voltage converter that replaces it on some models, is no longer holding charge. The car remains driveable, but start-stop is switched off and the message stays on. It is not the main starter battery. We check which part your model uses and test both.
Does a Mercedes battery need registration after replacement?
